sorry, i'm obsessed. with what you ask? THE HUNGER GAMES OF COURSE! have always been my whole life. when my best guy friend introduced it to me about 3 years ago. THE MOVIE COMES OUT THIS FRIDAY AND I'M FREAKING OUT. yes, on the verge of like squealing and crying. THE SOUNDTRACK CAME OUT TODAY AND I MADE NOTE TO BUY IT. i'm re-reading the books again because i'm crazy like that. i even dream about it. ahh, crazy. but... this week has been above 20+ celsius! ahhh, i didnt wear this though, i wore this awhile ago but i forgot to show it to you. one of my recent ones actually. but this outfit is kind of cool because of the shirt... the eagle. ah, the best. a new post will be coming up... once i finish charging my camera -.-

omg... i'm sooo sorry. like i was soo busy. i'm actually wowweed. i'm soo sorry. but i have alot to tell you :)
anyways, so i dont remember when i wore all of these outfits but whatever. i'm gonna keep it short. i just from different styles to another. how odd eh?
anyways, me and Charles* are officially over... like officially. no going back to him mumbo jumbo. 
so another thing, i got into this mini enrichment program. its like university for a week. so i was supposed to go to Ottawa U but i got put into Carleton. i'm so mad. but whatever. oh and the valentines day dance was really fun... surprising. but like my friends made it fun. without them, it would be like the most boring dance ever. love you guys, you know who you are <3
so right now i'm kind of mad. yes, really mad. at a teacher. hes a total ass. like seriously. i dont wanna explain. but i hate his guts. and he's really pissing me off. my parents dont really like him either. but like, i'm gonna tell them about him and i'm gonna see what they'll do because its as though he's picking on me. like honestly. i hate him UGHHY.

What to Wear to a Valentines Day Dance *Special Request*

1. Sweet Vintage Floral
*Could be worn: Summer, Winter (if worn with tights and trench) , Spring & Fall (If worn with Spring/Fall Jacket)
+ Accessory: Head Band could be worn to give a dreamy summer look.
Shoes: Floral Wedges for a vintage look, or Oxford Boots for a bit of a vintage-y west.

hello world! holy shatner, i haven't blogged. But here! This is a special blog post... requested by the amazing Emma Timordidio :) Cutest girl ever, grade 6, amazing blond hair, like alice in wonderland hair. very intelligent... and very thoughtful!
okay lets get on to it. 
HAPPY TUESDAY. or some call it "Valentines Day". Sorry, i don't do that style. i like HAPPY TUESDAY better.
Anyways, She specifically requested a vintage style. So, lets go vintage!... well i'm always vintage... so its not really surprising. So i actually went all out on this. Most of the stuff here are vintage. So dont ask me where i bought it!
Okay so let's start.


#1 Sweet Vintage Floral


so, this could be worn any season... but i absolutely suggest to wear this in the summer... it is better instead of having to wear tights and stuff. its a pain. so i highly recommend this for summer. I guess this is more of a formal-ish dance. But not so, i mean if you live in places that usually people dont care what you wear then go ahead! or if you just dont care then just wear it... formal or not. The flower... thats my favourite addition. Formal or not, you could still wear the flower... oh the beauty. You could also rock a fedora with this dress! Since its vintage, might as well add it to make it look even more vintage. + Accessory: Headband right? yeah, rock the headband. if you want to, you can totally do it because if you wear it, it'll sort of make you look like an angel... sort of. 
Get ready! If you want to walk into the dance with everyone staring at you, wear this, the perfect outfit to show off your beauty and angelic side.


*TIP: If your dance will get down and dirty and you worry about perspiration, then get a really really thin cardigan or vintage lace cardigan and wear it.. oh and deodorant. Maybe even take a break and spritz some body mist on to you!


#2 Sunny Vines and Metal


Hah! beautiful summer dress... literally. it's yellow and bright. it will turn heads! Like i said with the other dress... wear it in the summer... its highly recommended! The headband would give it a summery angelic look, its very original and unique. Like i said, its more of a formal outfit. But if you dont care, then go ahead! Also, it would look amazing if you were by the beach and its warm, then you must wear that. the metal head band would be cute if you had short hair, give you a little bob.

#3 Love Royalty


Want a little vintage love? Wear this one. This one will make you look cute, tights or not. This outfit can have alot of hats, even no hat it would look good. If you wore this in the spring, wearing the mittens will make you look like a little princess... if thats what you want. Also the beige vintage hat would go well with the mittens as well. This is for a more less formal, maybe just a normal school dance. A really cute outfit for a date as well.  Twirl a bit, show your cute side. That's what the skirt is for so put it to good use. 


#4 Abstract Lace


Oh the amazing. Love abstract or absolute weirdness mixed with vintage? Wear this. Perfect for standing out, or if you're not going with a date and you're just going with friends, wear this. Unless it's winter, then dont. The perfect Roxy sailors hat adds a little pixie like to it. Make sure to tuck in your shirt, it looks better, gives a more vintage look. Hey! even throw the Head Band to give a absolute abstract hippie. Combine it with the Feather Earring! Oh the Bonus. Oh gosh... the belt. How colourful. Yes, more colour, the better. Its called abstract! DUH. 


#5 Vintage Owl


The owl! How cute, you must say at least. This outfit makes you look a little more tomboy-ish depending on what hat, or what shoes to wear. In my opinion, i prefer this outfit for the dance. It's more laid-back, i think the jeans jacket makes it look, excuse my language, but bad-ass. It's a pretty sick combo. Also, if you sweat, i'm pretty sure the jeans jacket will keep the odour in. haha. Its an amazing outfit for just going crazy and dancing. Even the owl, it makes it cute as well... mixed with a little guy tone.


#6 Cali Ruffle


A little bit of cali style but plaid mixed. This gives a bit of a dark vintage side. The fedora completes the outfit because it gives a very indie look. This is more suited for if you're going with a date because it makes you look cute, and comfy and the same time. It would also show a bit of a naughty side... i guess. it'll make you look evil and mischievous in a way. Great for dancing, since its such a loose material, no matter how much you sweat, you wont smell it... BUT STILL WEAR DEODORANT. This, honestly, could be worn in any season, even the fedora, it really doesn't matter, it'll look really cool with the fedora and the trench mixed. 


#7 Malibu Beach Style


I guess i would recommend this... ONLY IF YOU'RE GOING TO A BEACH OR THE DANCE IS CLOSE TO THE BEACH. Haven't you seen like 90210? when they walk the beaches to relax, they wear mostly that. Well yeah, vintage. But only if the dance is not formal, then be my guest and wear something like that. I think that outfit sort of has a retro style to it. Lets talk accessories here. The feather earrings could be worn, it would honestly give the most vintagest look ever... if that's even a word. But also the Head Band! would give it a really hippie look. Combine the two and voilà! you have a vintage hippie! the coolest one out there... i would have to say. But... there is some advantages to this... if you were to dance ... were a really thin sweater of some sort... you are wearing a spaghetti... dont frail your arms or POO WEE you can smell the stench. The shoes... if you're walking on the beach... barefoot or greek sandals would look just fine. If you're at the dance though, it is recommended to wear TOMS or Oxford Boots, to give some comfort. The wedges could be a more traditional dance.. if you catch what i mean. Oh, and one last touch, add the perfect DIY seashell long necklace... or any vintage necklace! make sure it stands out though.


#8 Rock & Roll Hope


The perfect one. My favourite. I actually wore this one today with the hat and everything... yes, people turned heads... but for the hat. Yes, the hat. the very old vintage "french" hat. How great! I find that this outfit is more for the rock and rollers and the single ladies. But the hat gives a bit of a girly touch.  Once you're in this outfit, you'll feel like you're part of Hell's Angels or something. Yes, the feather earring and the headband would do as well. the feather earring... preferably for long hair people, would give a vintage guy look. the head band would give a hippie! everyone loves the hippie look. Perfect for dancing, trotting or even frailing.

Birthday

sorry for the late blog... busy as always. okay i accidently deleted the outfit version so i'm gonna post this! so this was the day of my birthday... i took this picture literally right before my friends started coming through my front door. soo i thought i'd wear something vintage looking including the glasses because i thought it looked retro in a way. and the plaid scarf sort of added to it, same with the jeans jacket and the tank top. so the birthday party was HILARIOUS OMG. Shayla, Mary, Lauren, Erika and Ethan came over... and we fooled around for a bit and the best of all... WE DID THE CINNAMON CHALLENGE... THREE TIMES IN A ROW... OMG it was painful! it hurt sooo much... hahah it was the best experience ever gosh. well guess what i got for my birthday?

i think thats it... good :) but it was one of the best birthdays ever :) okay i know this is gonna sound crazy... and its insane... but i ended things with Charles*... for good. Gosh, i can't even explain why. I just did. Because i've been having feelings for another guy... another guy from my All-Star Jazz Band. We'll call him.... Carson*. So, i've known him for like 3 months... but it feels like i've known him for like ever. but what sucks is that... thursday is like the last day i'll ever see him pretty much... unless we hang but he's always sooo busy. but like... he's my perfect guy and stuff... but gosh i dont even know.. its soo annoying. well guess what? i tried out for All-Star Concert Band... which Carson* was suppose to do but he was too busy ... anyways i made it! woohoo. I get my IB results next week... i'm freaking out.. i'm sad. i dont get to see Carson*. like i can cry over it... but i wont. My depressing song list? Feist and radiohead, all the way. literally, it helps. 
i'm in a band... we started last week on a sunday and i'm a bass player... for now i think haha. we don't know what to name it but... we have an insane piano player who can play the Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen... like gosh unbelievable.

Simple Love

GOSH FINALLY. The photos went into place... wow, haven't blogged in actually soooooo long and i'm soooo sorry. I've literally been sooo busy, my schedule is insane! so remember the polo sweater i was talking about? and the crop top from urban? well, here it is. oh and the pink top is from British India. It's a brand from Malaysia, my mom used to shop there every single day. So yesterday she was like, here you go Junny, you can have it. I was like omg i love you mommy <3 well i have alot to tell you... I got back with Charles*... now we're officially dating. I guess after i ended things with him, i realized how much i really did want him.. in a way. ah anyways, tomorrow is my birthday ahh! i didn't ask for anything actually... lol so idk what i'm gonna get. so my schedule... i have all-star like everyday, music everyday. Oh and i did the Colonel By test... which is the ib program. CB is an ivy league school... so i hope i'm gonna get in... i don't think i did well though :( omg guess what? i got the best babysitting job in the world!! starting January 31, i babysit tuesday through friday everyweek and earn $7/h <3 $$$$$$$$$$$$ serious money man, can't wait! and her kids are sooo cute <3 omgosh haha! so i'm having a huge party tomorrow... yay. ohhh i'm in a new band, a rock band we start sunday... just letting you know :) well, i can't really think since i have a headache... so i'll try to blog sunday... or tomorrow or something <3

2012. Resolution?

whoa, sorry about the late blog post guys. I've seriously been soo busy over the break, its not even funny! But today was the first day of school after the break. gr. it was hard for me to wake up but i woke up anyways.
So on New Years Eve, i went to a family friends house for dinner. the same friend that had the christmas party. Anyways, i got bored so i came home. I put on some 90210 on Netflix to catch up. Then came up with my New Years Resolution! So, here it is..

1. Keep to yourself at all times (sounds stupid but it gets better)
2. Listen to music EVERYDAY
3. Study and do homework everyday
4. NO PROCRASTINATION.
5. Be nicer to Mr. Guram (My devil homeroom teacher)
6. Be nicer
7. Don't scout out guys :P
8. Let love come to you...
9. Be nicer to my dad
10. Don't cause trouble in the house
11. Don't gossip (i never do anyways)
12. Don't backstab (i never do anyways)
13. Don't swear
14. Keep room clean
15. Wear mascara every couple of days (it brightens my face a bit)

so yeah! thats it, it's going really well. so on new years eve i stayed up watching beetlejuice and talking to my bff sabrina on the phone about my first kiss.... Decker*. Happened a week ago. It was a dare it wasn't anything special... at least i think that. But he likes another girl... and our past together wasn't so great. One day, when i feel like writing a HUGE paragraph about what happened between us, you'll get it. So then, New Years i had to go to Aidan's house... i've mentioned him i think... but yeah it was fun. oh and on the 26, i went CRAZY SHOPPING. boxing day is freaking amazing.
So then... last thursday, i went to Vermont, Burlington to go snowboarding. I went to Smugglers notch. holy moly it was awesome! So Thursday, my family and i drove down to vermont, stopping at fast foods and shopping a bit. 4 excruciatingly hours of sitting down in the car. But i listened to music and read most of the way. actually, the whole way. We went with family friends. So once we got there, we checked in at the Marriot hotel. then went to walmart and met up with those famjam. Then came back then went back out downtown to eat. Church St. Look it up. Went back and had a few drinks... my parents did. Friday, my mom, sister, me and Sharon went shopping. First destination? Jo-Ann's Fabric store... I GOT MY PATTERN FOR MY GRAD DRESS HOLY OMG OMGOMGOGMOGMOGOGMG. Remember? i had a link to that on "Perfectly Vintage" Post? well here's the link again.

anyways, so then we went to the outlets, i bought nothing, went to bcbgmaxazria and ralph lauren. Then went downtown to hit up the big mall. So, I'm wearing the oversized turtleneck/sweater. I bought that at the Loft. then i bought a really nice crop top from Urban Outfitters, i'll be wearing that tomorrow. Then a really nice tank, thats shown up there from Urban as well. Oh and i bought a really nice sweater jacket from Ralph. I'll be wearing that tomorrow as well. I don't remember what else... i'll check it out. OH and a really nice turqoise sweater from Hollister, so warm and cozy. well thats it... oh and then dinner. Saturday, i went snowboarding! omg it was awesome. I went off boxes and jumps and god it was amazing. then yesterday we left and now today is school! yippeeee!
So the other picture with the hope shirt, i wore that to the new years party btw... its different but sick. and that picture thats really white, i thought it looked cool so i put it up anyways. 
Oh and... I ended things with Charles*. But he told me he still likes me. you're probably wondering.. "WHY OMG OMG". well.... i just wanted to be free... like i didnt want to worry everyday and stress if he really likes me.. loves me or not. he's the type of guy to show mixed feelings so i hate it. so i pledged myself to not date this year... good. i feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. its a good feeling. <3
